Welcome New Staff Member!

We are thrilled to welcome our new staff member, Stacy Moran, to the team! Read on to learn a little bit more about them.




Stacy Moran holds a Bachelor’s in Human Services from Saint Leo University and a Master’s in Human Services Counseling with a focus in traumatology from Liberty University. She has 22 years of experience working with diverse populations facing adversity, crisis, and trauma. Stacy has a vast professional background from her work in corrections, emergency communications, emergency medicine, homeless services, and mental health. Her journey in the non-profit sector began in 2018, where her passion for advocating and helping those in the community facing challenges grew. Stacy is pursuing her Doctor of Education in Community Care and Counseling with a focus in traumatology as she continues her work within the community through awareness and collaboration to reduce stigmas and biases associated with trauma.


Stacy is a wife and mother of six who loves gardening, visiting local nature spots, and relaxing at home with her family when she is not working. Stacy is excited to be a part of the team at The Center, where she can continue to work with those within the community to foster empowerment and resiliency. Ensuring survivors of sexual assault are treated with dignity and respect, have equitable access to resources, and receive culturally appropriate services.
