Internship/Practicum Application

Internship & Practicum

Completing an internship (undergrad) or practicum (graduate) placement with The Center will give you valuable, hands on, experience in working with a diversity of: victims of sexual violence, law enforcement, medical practitioners, legal professionals, an others. 

Most importantly, you will take away the knowledge that you have made a difference in reducing sexual violence in our community. 

ALL INTERNS & PRACTICUM ARE REQUIRED TO:

  • Submit a volunteer application
  • Satisfactorily complete interviews with staff
  • Pass a criminal background check
  • Attend & complete our 38-hour (6 day) training on sexual violence
  • Complete 1 week of 24/7 crisis hotline advocacy per month

Intern Positions (undergrad):

Nonprofit Management Intern

Marketing & Fundraising Intern

Practicum Placements (graduate):

For students within graduate programs in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling. You may apply to receive direct and indirect service hours under the guidance and supervision of our Crisis Specialists.
